Dr. J. G. Vos was an outstanding communicator of the Reformed faith. Upon becoming convinced of the principles for which she stood, he joined the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America in 1938. As pastor, missionary and teacher he became known as one of her foremost apologists. After joining the staff of Geneva College, Beaver Falls, where he taught for many years in the Bible Department, he established “The Blue Banner Faith and Life” as a periodical for disseminating the Covenanter vision far and wide. His clear and confident presentation of Reformed truth and its thorough application to salvation, worship and public life is greatly needed today.
